Every year MATA holds an annual debate (The Tony Curtis Debate) in honour of a well-loved and respected mediator. This event is open not only to mediators but also to all lawyers, solicitors and barristers from the UK and abroad.
The debate is designed to discuss a subject matter that is not only of interest to mediators but also to all in the legal profession who work within dispute resolution and litigation departments across the board.
To celebrate MATA's 10th anniversary we are making the debate a day long affair and offering delegates luxury overnight accommodation at Cumberland Lodge, the night before the debate.
Speakers will be Nomi Bar-Yaacov, international lawyer, arbitrator and mediator; Brenda Brainch, community-based mediator in Africa; Maria Arpa from the Center of Peaceful Solutions, Baroness Scotland, political mediation and Dorian Coxon representing Peer and school mediation.
What to expect:
offer 9 CPD (Ref: CKT/MATA)
Each speaker will offer parallel workshops
