'Moving Over - Developing Conversation Training and Hybrid Models in Mediation'

<div class="page"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>It is with pleasure that we announce the second AMATI Conference, which is designed to encourage mediation trainers to draw inspiration from aspects of other models &ndash; facilitative, evaluative, transformative, narrative, therapeutic &ndash; and industry groupings &ndash; civil/commercial, family, workplace, employment, community, group &ndash; and foreign experiences &ndash; UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, and, hopefully, Germany, Italy, the USA, Australia. </p> <p>The keynote address will be given by Rt. Hon. Sir Alan Ward, former Lord Justice of Appeal, and the Chairman of the UK&rsquo;s Civil Mediation Council. The event will be chaired by Prof. Andrew Goodman, Director of AMATI. </p> <p>Speakers will include well known UK mediation trainers Jane Gunn, Paul Randolph, Alan Susskind and Dr Al Jarratt; Judge Avi Schneebalg from Brussels, and Iain Christie, the Secretary of the Civil Mediation Council. </p> <p>Practical workshops will be given on developing boutique mediation schemes and training for them, teaching the psychology of mediation, and creating conversion courses. </p> <p>Discussion groups will focus on drawing effective practices from across different mediation traditions and cultures. There will be time <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: OpenSans">designated for networking. </span></p> <p>Fee per person to include two-days conference attendance with papers, overnight accommodation, including dinner, bed and breakfast on 3 March, luncheon on both days and full refreshments: AMATI members &pound;575 + VAT; non-members &pound;650 + VAT. </p> <p>Please note that attendance will be confined to a maximum capacity of 10 faculty and 40 delegates due to the room sizes and residential <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: OpenSans">accommodation reserved. </span></p> <p>To register for the conference please follow this link and complete the registration form.&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div>
