UK Government review encourages mediation for IP disputes

The UK Government-commissioned Gowers Review of Intellectual Property in the UK expressly acknowledges the role that mediation has to play in Intellectual Property disputes. Commenting that mediation is "poorly used and understood", it encourages judges and IP professionals to consider it more, and recommends "greater encouragement for parties to mediate in particular this should raise the profile of mediation with judges."Full details of the report can be found through the Gowers Review website link below.
